LAYING OF CORNERSTONE OF YAD SARAH BUILDING IN MODI’IN
A cornerstone was laid at the beginning of the week for a new large Regional Center of Yad Sarah in Modi’in, after 13 years of wide-spread volunteer activity in caravans at the entrance to the city. The establishment of the new building in Mote Gur Street in the Maginim district will enable a significant expansion of the diverse services provided by Yad Sarah

The dedicated volunteers at the Haifa Branch of Yad Sarah
The branch - led by Devora Fisher Alter (in photo) - has just been given a fantastic
opportunity by the Haifa
municipality to finally settle down in one location. An abandoned municipal
building has been offered to them. This 3 story building will increase Yad
Sarah’s importance as one of the essential services offered to the citizens of Haifa

“Dearest Itzik. Our Hands”
More than just helping with the purchase of the apartment- Itzik would sometimes call us to cheer us up and to make us laugh “he would call to tell us a joke just so that we would laugh. When you laugh your whole day will change for the better. I wish that every disabled person who needs assistance could find someone like dear Itzik, he is like a son to me. You will stay in our hearts
